Izabela Fukano leveraged the power of Facebook Ads to drive her affiliate marketing efforts, ultimately reaching Platinum after three years in May of 2023. She recommends being selective about the products you choose to promote and sticking with whatever plan you decide on.

For her, the plan was affiliate marketing with “weight loss + Facebook Ads + ClickBank.” She also discovered the power of storytelling in your ads, because stories can capture people’s attention and make them engage with your ad without you needing to make any specific claims or promises about a particular product.

And her advice? “All you need is one campaign, one video, one ad to reach Platinum,” she says.

2) Liss Graham

Liss Graham is an email marketing and list management pro who works with many of the top ClickBank clients, helping them monetize their email list in exchange for a percentage of the sales she and her team generate.

Coming from a small Texas town, Liss has had an incredible path to success in the affiliate marketing space. She started out as a science teacher and randomly came across a weight loss product that helped her lose 50 pounds – and then started working with the team behind the offer, eventually becoming their email manager.

Since 2016, she’s been in business for herself. Her first-ever live event was ClickBank Platinum Summit when she went as a guest of one of her clients. The very next year, she was Platinum herself – and she’s never looked back!

“You’re the one who’s limiting yourself. You can grow and be as big as you want to,” Liss advises.

3) Ernesto Mejia

Ernesto Mejia was suddenly laid off from his engineering job after years in his field, and needed a way to provide for his family. He turned to affiliate marketing on ClickBank and found success with Facebook Ads after 9 months of consistent work.

At the end of 2019, he reached ClickBank Platinum status and has now made Platinum for four years in a row. Nowadays, he swears by YouTube Ads for driving traffic to his affiliate offers.

Stick to the plan. Izabela pointed out that it took her three years of consistent work to make it to Platinum. Just be aware that this is a marathon, not a sprint – and even once you find some success, there will be speed bumps along the way. Trust the process and keep doing the steps, and you’ll go far!

Know your traffic channel inside and out. All Platinum clients are masters of their domain. Liss Graham knows email like the back of her hand, having worked in the space for a decade already. She can explain the nuances of buyers lists vs. leads lists, cite optimal click rates, and rattle off the subject lines from her most successful email sends. Whatever your traffic channel, you should get to know it supremely well.

Develop your skills. You will never reach a point where you’re totally perfect. Algorithms get updated, trends change, new products come on the market… So your goal is to never stop learning and growing. There’s a famous quote by T. Harv Eker: “Your income can only grow to the extent you do.”
